I had a wild thing happen tonight...I had an IG live notification pop up (I'm not on IG too often) for a tarot reading by Jimmie Romero Now, I didn't know he possessed this gift, I have only known him as a musician/singer (stellar shredder on the guitar too) thru our shared circle of friends. I tuned in and was blown away at the accuracy of the cards and how they almost all (seriously, maybe one card wasn't spot on) spoke in some way to what my family is going thru with my brother and where we are with the turn of events with his health. He was doing just an open reading so it wasn't that he was reading for me personally, but after the first few pulls, I was crying. Y'all know I'm doing a lot of that lately. By the end of the reading which spoke to one essentially being too hard on themselves etc and the last card being The Archangel Michael...I was sobbing. Michael is the Patron Saint of Paratroopers. My brother, as many of you know, served in the Army in the 18th Airborne Division. That said it all. I was meant to sit down and tune in.
I know many don't find Tarot as their particular cup of tea and I don't know that much about it myself, but what I can tell you is that now, in this moment, I feel lighter than I did this morning and I suppose I might even feel a bit "seen" by someone/something other than my near and dears. I can't quite verbalize what I'm feeling. As I told Jimmie earlier, my sweet pal Lonn Friend ALWAYS tells me "Val, there are no coincidences...only serendipity." I got a text message from Lonn just a few days ago regarding my current tumult in which he said "sometimes, as hard as it is, we have to be kinder to ourselves and we have to LET ourselves let go of what's weighing us down so we can go forward...".
